Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is committed to a website that everyone in Renfrew County can use. This site is built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, in line with Ontario’s Integrated Accessibility Standards (O. Reg. 191/11).

Accessibility features on this site include:

• A skip-to-content link, consistent landmarks and a logical heading structure on every page;
• Full keyboard operation, including the age gate, cookie banner and purchase confirmation dialog;
• Live jackpot and envelope-board figures exposed to screen readers as text via polite live regions — never conveyed by colour alone (the “Ace found” state is always written out);
• Text contrast meeting AA ratios, touch targets of at least 44×44 pixels, and text never smaller than 14px;
• Respect for your reduced-motion preference: the jackpot count-up and animations switch to static display.

2. Scope

This statement covers prhffoundation.ca. Ticket purchases are completed on the Ascend Fundraising Solutions store (ascendstore234.myshopify.com), which is a separate service with its own accessibility practices; we pass accessibility feedback about the store to Ascend.

3. Known limitations

None identified at launch. If our testing or your feedback finds an issue, it will be listed here with a target fix date.
