Catch the Ace is entertainment and a way to support your hospital — it is not an investment, an income plan, or a savings strategy. Every ticket helps fund equipment at Pembroke Regional Hospital whether or not you win.

A weekly game deserves extra care

Unlike a one-off draw, Catch the Ace runs every week, indefinitely. Small recurring purchases add up, and a growing jackpot can make it tempting to spend more than planned. Our commitments to you:

• Set a personal weekly spending limit before you buy, and stick to it. This reminder appears beside every buy button on this site.
• We never use “streak” pressure — you will not see “don’t miss out” or “keep your streak going” messaging here.
• All ticket tiers are shown with equal weight; nothing is pre-selected for you, and the only label we add is a neutral “best value per ticket” note.
• The recurring membership checkbox is always unchecked by default.
• Jackpot growth is framed as fundraising progress — what it buys for the hospital — not as gambling excitement.

Cancelling a recurring membership

If you have opted into the weekly membership, you can change or cancel it at any time, free of charge, effective for the next draw:

Common myths

“The longer I play, the better my odds get.”

False. Each week’s ticket draw is an independent event — your odds in any given week depend only on that week’s entries, not on how many weeks you have played before.

“I’m due for a win.”

False. Random draws have no memory. Past losses do not make a future win more likely.

“Buying more tickets is a smart investment as the jackpot grows.”

Tickets are a donation with a chance of a prize, not an investment. Spend only what you would be comfortable giving.

Know the signs

• Spending more than your limit, or borrowing to play;
• Chasing losses or hiding play from family;
• Feeling anxious when you miss a week.
